Mérida (MRD) can be
reached by plane from Caracas (CCS) or Maracaibo
(MAR). Many major airlines have convenient flights to Caracas:
American, Delta, Continental, Air France,
British Airways, Iberia,
Alitalia, among others. American Airlines has a daily flight from Miami to Maracaibo.
The local airport of Mérida “Alberto Carnevalli” is open from

there are no night flights to or out of Mérida. Depending
on your flight schedule, you may want to consider spending a night
in Miami and take an early flight to Caracas. If you have to spend
a night in Caracas or Maracaibo, we will gladly
help you with your hotel reservations.
VISA AND ENTRY
Your passport must be
valid for at least six months after your arrival in Venezuela. If you require a Visa,
please contact the nearest Venezuelan Embassy or Consulate

one year and allow for multiple entries of up to 90 days each. Additionally the DEX-2 card, available
at Consular offices, Embassies, and airlines, allows for a single entry for no
more than 90 days.
